Case Summary

A dispute over a loan agreement led to the defendants in this case producing a document which did not correspond to the one held by the claimants. It appeared to relieve the defendants of their liabilities to the original loan. The original document lodged at court had gone missing.

We were able to demonstrate that the later document produced by the defendants was a forgery which had been affected by cutting out areas from the original document and re-arranging the paragraphs.
